Prospective Member Information
We hope that you find this information interesting and that you can't wait to become an active member of the San Diego Cake Club.
Here you will not just learn and share confectionery art, but you will make life time friends.
The purpose of our organization is to share, promote, encourage, and enlarge the appreciation of cake decorating and the many other forms of confectionery art.
Dues are collected annually in January for the purpose of supporting the general expenses of running the club. Membership dues for adults is $30, for Junior members is $20 (children up to 16 are Junior Members).
Club meetings are the first Monday of each month at 7:00pm (unless there is a holiday then the meeting would be on the 2nd Monday). Each meeting consists of dinner at 6:30pm (donated by a member) for $5, followed by the general business meeting at 7:00pm. After the meeting, a demonstration of skill or other sugar art technique is presented along with dessert. We also have a 50/50 drawing each month, a door prize brought by the previous month's winner, and "scholorship" drawing. We have a great time visiting and sharing and hope you will come and join the fun. Visit the Meeting Information Page for location and schedule.
